Component Group Information > Co-Chairs

There are two co-chairs for each component group. One co-chair is a state department employee and the other represents a private organization. This group meets on a monthly basis to guide the work of the Early Childhood Iowa Council and define the work of the six component groups. Co-chairs support, set agendas and staff Early Childhood Iowa Council meetings, convene component groups and keep component group activities aligned with Early Childhood Iowa's vision, Strategic Plan and guiding principles. The co-chairs group is made up of:

  • Co-Chairpersons of the six component groups
  • Chairperson of the State Agency Liaison Team
  • Office of Empowerment Staff
