The Governance component group addresses issues related to the governance, planning and administration of Iowa's Early Care, Health and Education System. This group is responsible for designing and overseeing the implementation of governance, planning and administrative structures that integrate the six system components to ensure that the results in the ECI Strategic Plan are achieved.
Group Responsibilities:
To design and oversee the implementation of governance, planning and administrative structures within the Early Care, Health and Education system.
To develop a plan to create an infrastructure for the smooth functioning of the ECI Council.
To plan and implement activities that support the professional development of the ECI Council in the area of systems development and cultural competence.
