Iowa Department of Human Services (DHS) Child Care Provider Training Registry

The Iowa Child Care Provider Training Registry is a web-based system for Child Care Providers and other child care professionals to find trainings that have been approved for DHS training hours, enroll in approved trainings, and track the attended trainings in a centralized location.  Parents will be able to view completed trainings of providers.  DHS will use this information to verify provider’s approved trainings, meeting their regulatory requirements. This web-based system is under development.  It is the intent of DHS to pilot this system by the end of 2009.  A link to the "Training Registry" will be provided after the pilot is successfully completed.
